he Society extends a warm welcome of the return by Tom Jones to the Society. His talk will cover the two main theories explaining the development of the Rows, and reveal some interesting and little-known facts about buildings which form part of that structure.
Andrew Fielding will be talking about the history of the boat lift, Northwich's salt and chemical industry and how it shaped the landscape, and local information about the Weaver Navigation and the trade it welcomed over the last couple of hundred years.
