Musical Theatre Summer School

If the answer is yes, then you should attend Salt & Pepper Productions’ Theatre School this Summer!

Throughout the week students will be working towards a production of ‘Frozen Jr’ while taking part in an exciting mix of dance, drama and singing classes. This will be the third Musical Theatre Holiday School we have run, our previous two have been very popular and the productions are a very high standard. Students and our audience have requested that the show is performed more than once, so this time we are doing just that. The Summer Theatre School will run from Monday 24th July - Saturday 29th July. Students will arrive at 10am on Monday, we will complete casting the show, rehearse all week then our first performance will be at 6pm on Friday 28th July, with a further two performances on Saturday 29th July at 2pm & 6pm. This will be our first performance to go on sale to the public; something we are extremely excited about. Time to show the wider community how amazing and talented Salt and Pepper Productions Youth Company are!

Salt and Pepper Productions ensure that every student has an exciting, positive and rewarding experience. Our workshops have received some wonderful comments from all involved, and we cannot wait to start working on this one with our new company of performers for ‘Frozen Jr’. What more can we say, this is such an exciting opportunity for young people seeking fun in the summer holidays, offering a chance to meet new friends, and an opportunity to develop talents in acting, dancing and singing, creating memories for life.

All our staff who work with children and young people have a current enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure & Barring Service and receive regular child protection training.

Key Information:
Due to some of the parts requiring a lot of dialogue and lyrics to learn the tutors have decide to pre-audition some of the older roles, to ensure the students have a little bit more time to prepare. Once we receive your booking further information will be sent to out those students wanting to audition. All other roles will be cast during the week of the workshop.

Sunday 11th June 10am - 1pm: Auditions for older Elsa, Anna, Hans, Kristoff and Olaf (The Grange Sport Centre)

Monday 24th July - Thursday 27th July 10am - 4pm: Dance, Drama and Singing Rehearsals
​
Friday 28th July 10am - 4pm: Technical Rehearsal and Dress Rehearsal
​
Friday 28th July 6pm: Performance (Students stay at with us until the show)
​
Saturday 29th July 2pm & 6pm: Performance (Students arrive at 12.30)

The Cost:
Places are £170, siblings are discounted at £150.
