If the answer is yes, then you should attend Salt & Pepper Productions’ Theatre School this Summer!
Throughout the week students will be working towards a production of ‘Shrek Jr’ while taking part in an exciting mix of dance, drama and singing classes. This will be the fifth Musical Theatre School we have run, our previous four have been very popular and the productions are a very high standard. Our 2024 Summer Theatre School will run from Monday 29h July - Saturday 3rd August. Students will arrive at 10am on Monday, we will complete casting the show, rehearse all week then our first performance will be at 6pm on Friday 2nd August, with a further two performances on Saturday 3rd August at 2pm & 6pm.

Salt and Pepper Productions ensure that every student has an exciting, positive and rewarding experience. Our workshops have received some wonderful comments from all involved, and we cannot wait to start working on this one with our new company of performers for ‘Shrek Jr’. What more can we say, this is such an exciting experience for young people to get involved with. A chance to meet new friends, meet up with old friends, and most importantly an opportunity to develop talents in acting, dancing, and singing. This is a workshop intended for students who love performing and are keen to work hard at developing their performance technique, can take direction, and work respectfully with others in the company.
All our staff who work with children and young people have a current enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure & Barring Service and receive regular child protection training.
Key Information
Due to some of the parts requiring a lot of dialogue and lyrics to learn the tutors have decide to pre-audition some of the older roles, to ensure the students have a little bit more time to prepare. Once we receive your booking further information will be sent to out those students wanting to audition. To audition for one of these roles, students need to be signed up by Friday 21st June. All other roles will be cast during the week of the workshop.

Friday 28th June: Audition self-tapes to be submitted (this is only for students wanting to be considered for certain lead roles)
Monday 29th July - Thursday 1st August 10am - 4pm: Dance, Drama and Singing Rehearsals
Friday 2nd August 10am - 4pm: Technical Rehearsal and Dress Rehearsal
Friday 2nd August 6pm: Performance (Students stay with us all day on the 2nd)
Saturday 3rd July 2pm & 6pm: Performance (Students arrive at 12.30)
The Cost
Places are £175, siblings are discounted at £155.
