Acting Through Song Masterclass

Lucie Jones Academy proudly presents…

A Masterclass on “Acting Through Song & Performance” with West End leading lady Lucie Jones (Waitress, Wicked, Les Mis) in Hartford.

Over the course of four hours you will learn from Lucie and fellow LJA Academy attendees as you work collectively on getting and bringing the best out of one another. You will be asked to bring an audition cut of your chosen song to perform and work through with Lucie. Please don’t choose the easy bit of the song in your cut. This is your time to shine so show us what you’ve got.

There will be a pianist to accompany so please bring your sheet music, taped together, so you’re all ready to go.

Observer tickets are available for those wanting to learn but not participate on this occasion and there will be a Q&A session at the end so please bring questions. Please note: this workshop is for performers aged 14+.

Session duration: 4hrs (3hrs 30mins with 2 x 15min tea breaks)
